During the COVID-19 crisis, Steven shifted his focus toward medical assignments, gaining valuable experience in handling sensitive shipments and supporting critical medical supply chains under exceptional circumstances.

FROM PLATFORM TO NETWORK
Looking for a better way to connect couriers and brokers, Steven developed his own platform. While the concept gained limited interest from brokers, it quickly proved valuable to couriers and helped build the network that would later become a foundation of Swift Secure Logistics.

ENTERING AS AN OBC
Steven Steeman began his journey in time-critical logistics as an Onboard Courier. Working on urgent assignments provided first-hand experience of the precision, responsibility, and flexibility required when every minute matters.

RISING REPUTATION, FIRST STEPS AS A BROKER
As Steven’s experience grew, he began taking his first steps into OBC brokerage while continuing as an Onboard Courier. This gave him insight into the broker’s role and shaped his future in time-critical logistics.
